Food was mostly good, cullen skink and Haggis were very nice. Frozen French fries served with mains instead of skin on chips as shown on menu, and the steak pie came with delicious roasted carrot but was a little overcooked and too salty. The man who served us was pleasant and couldn't fault him until the bill came as our itison voucher wasn't applied correctly and we would have been over charged £15 if we hadn't checked the bill. Thankfully he was apologetic and quick to rectify this. Decor is lovely, however the conservatory is a little impractical due to the blinding sun which reflects off the mirror and blinds you wherever you sit, and the heat quickly builds up even on a mild day.

Hats off to the interior designers. The decor is glorious. It’s classy, comfortable and refined. Nice enough to enjoy some leisurely daytime brunch and special enough to justify evening dining. Friendly service and a nicely curated menu. Portions generous. Prices affordable. It’s not as technically competent as the very best brunch spots I’ve tried but it’s a worthy competitor to any upscale cafe or glasgow eatery. On this occasion we used an Itison deal and the waiting staff were more than helpful and accommodating to our navigation through the menu. Often this is not the case so credit to them.

We went as a family for mother's day. I was a little worried because of some of the reviews, but we loved it. Great atmosphere, loads of space between tables, but a nice buzz. Decor is so nice and relaxing, and the sum streaming through the windows helped. I'm a starters boy, and they were terrific - the char siu was incredible. Mains and desserts were good too, and generous portions. Staff were very friendly, and we were never rushed.
